Aparthés moves at two speeds : fast for ambition, slow for quality. From the noble material to the knowing hand, all the way to the piece you keep, nothing that matters is rushed.
Not a pose ; just the way that suits us, for leather goods as for garments. Three demands guide every piece :
Every piece goes through a quality check before shipping. Flaws aren’t corrected, they’re set aside. No piece leaves the workshop without final approval.
Every piece is entrusted to a workshop chosen for its craft : leather goods in Ubrique, garments in Europe. No mass production line, no imposed pace.
We say what every piece is made of, on the right side as on the reverse. No blend that lies, no vague percentage. Our only enemy is the brands that lie.
The leather workshop is in Ubrique, in Andalusia. There, leatherwork is entrusted to artisans who carry on a craft passed down from generation to generation.
The garment workshops are in Europe, and above all in Portugal ; France, Italy, and certain Eastern countries depending on the piece. We choose the workshop for what it can do : its skills, its craft, its repute ; never for the flag it lets us fly.
From one workshop to the next, a piece is not hurried ; it is awaited.

Art, every day.
Aparthés works mostly lamb and calf, always full grain : the top layer of the leather, the one that keeps the natural grain, the one that ages by growing more beautiful.
Lamb for what is worn close to the body, its suppleness ; calf for its finer grain and its hold. Cowhide comes in support, when a piece calls for more body.
Leather offcuts are never wasted : they become the house’s small pieces, charms and accessories, made from what the larger pieces left behind.
Aparthés is a Parisian house founded in 2026, writing itself in chapters ; some will be long and gripping, others brief, intense, extraordinary.
Chapter 0 will open during the summer of 2027 : leather goods, accessories.
What comes next will work with two hands : limited runs cut from the dormant stocks of the greatest houses, and a wardrobe in series, accessible, made to be worn. The rare kind of beauty on one side, the everyday kind on the other.
Soon, the first pieces will be photographed.
The shoot will take place in the back streets of Montmartre, in the late-afternoon light.
